About me

I am a graduate student in the Bioinformatics program at UCLA, where I am coadvised by John Novembre and Kirk Lohmueller. My current research interests are related to understanding how natural selection affects levels of genetic variation. Currently I am studying:
1) How signatures of linkage disequilibrium can be used to infer the strength of natural selection acting against a set of variants that share similar functional properties.
2) The impact of demographic events on patterns of deleterious genetic variation using genomic data from dogs and wolves.
3) How to use genomic data to infer recent changes in population sizes
